The Boyne: 325 Year Anniversary
This summer the Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum is marking the 325th anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne with a new exhibition including highlights from its collection. Through objects, text, maps and pictures the display tells the story of William III’s victory over James II on the banks of the River Boyne, Co. Meath. It features the eyewitness Theodor Maas’ fantastic ‘The Victory of King William III at the Battle of the Boyne, 1690’, the earliest surviving image of the battle.
Open Monday to Saturday, 9.30-5.00. Free Admission
