Robert Young - ILC&LM Collection - Virtual Museum
Robert Young General Dressmakers and Drapery, 69-71 Bow Street Lisburn

Advert: Robert Young, Draper, Bow Street, 1921

Robert Young, a draper on Bow Street, was a main-stay of shopping life in Lisburn for over 50 years.  The firm was founded in early 1913, taking over the former premises of David Kilpatrick who ran a similar shoe and draper’s store on the site previously. Young bought all of Kilpatrick’s stock, much like he did in 1921, when he purchased Robert Moffat’s stock.

Do you remember the store?  Let us know!
