Market Place Before and After

Photo: Market Place, Lisburn, before and After

A before and after view of Market Place, Lisburn.  Crazy Prices was developed in the late 1980s on former site of Stewarts’ Mill, one of Lisburn’s most prominent thread mills.  The home of Robert Stewart (d.1858), the founder of the mill, still stands t(on the right hand side of the photograph).  It is now occupied by Maginess & Sons, solicitors.  Crazy Prices was later replaced by Bow Street Mall, which still stands today.
