This little guidebook, held in the museum’s collection, tells the fascinating story of Kilwarlin Moravian Church.  Do you know the history of the church?  Formed in Bohemia in the 15th century, the church is a pre-Luther protestant denomination.

At Kilwarlin, outside Hillsborough, the church boasts an amazing ‘battle garden’, symbolising the 480BC Battle or Thermopylae, which was fought between the Persians and the Greeks. It was built by Rev Basil Patras Zula, minister at Kilwarlin, in the early 19th century.  Read more here.
