This week’s Virtual Museum post is a snapshot from our photographic collection. A family heading off on an outing at a time when travel was more environmentally friendly. This photograph was taken by John Lannigan, who documented life in Lisburn at the turn of the 20th century. Lannigan’s studio was located in Antrim Street for almost twenty years at the beginning of the last century.
