Do you own a historic building or site within Lisburn and & Castlereagh City Council? If so, we are encouraging you to register for European Heritage Open Days (EHOD) which will take place on 13 and 14 September 2025. Note that the deadline for all applications is 11 May.
EHOD is an annual event celebrating local architecture, history, and culture. In Northern Ireland, EHOD is run by the Department for Communities and hundreds of people open their doors and organise events.
It is a once-a-year opportunity for curious families, architect lovers, and heritage enthusiasts to explore buildings and exclusive sites rarely open to the public.
