Family Easter Activities 2026

Flaxie has got lots of fun things for you to do over the Easter holidays! We are delighted to unveil our spring programme for 2026, packed with engaging activities for families and children of all ages. All activities are FREE, and you can expect a mix of workshops, drop-in arts and crafts, and a Flaxie trail to inspire creativity and fun during the Easter break.

Children under seven years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Easter Workshops

Dates: Wednesday 8 April – Saturday 11 April 2026
Time: 10am – 12pm and 2 – 4pm

Our workshops run twice daily across four days, and each offers a unique opportunity to explore different arts and crafts, guided by our experienced facilitators.

Wednesday 8 April
Cracking Clay Pots: make a mini thumb pot from air drying clay

Thursday 9 April
Brilliant Badges: get creative and make a badge for yourself or for a friend (or both!)

Friday 10 April
Fabulous Flowers: make an everlasting flower, or a whole bunch from tissue paper!

Saturday 11 April
Fantastic Felt: craft a spring-inspired felt masterpiece!

You do not need to book, but our workshops could become very busy throughout the day and so you may be required to wait. While you do so, you can take part in some arts and crafts activities in the drop-in space, or complete our Flaxie Trail in the galleries.
