Abut Philip Orr

Philip Orr, author and playwright, is involved in many community development initiatives. His well-known publication, The Road to the Somme (1987), based on his interviews with Somme veterans, has been instrumental in widening understanding of the Somme experience and Ulster. He has written extensively about Ireland, Ulster and the First World War.
