The first talk in our 2023 Winter Talks Series features Professor Crawford Gribben of Queen’s University Belfast. Professor Gribben asks why, over the last 30 years, has one of Europe’s most religious cultures seemingly abandoned the heritage that had provided so much meaning to its communities? This talk was held in conjunction with Lisburn Cathedral’s 400th anniversary. Professor Crawford Gribben is a cultural and literary historian whose work concentrates on the development and dissemination of religious ideas.
