Lisburn Advent Calendar 2016 – Day 14: The lion of Bow Street above Jordan Bros’ tea house, c.1970s

The lion decorated the shop front of the Golden Lion Tea House, which was established at 59 Bow Street.  The premises were later purchased by John G. Feguson and continued in use as a spirit grocery after its lease to Jordan Brothers around 1950.
